Watch in wonder as the children enter a digital world before your eyes, chasing fairies, catching frogs and more!
Araluen Botanic Park has launched a new fun experience, which allow visitors to be taken into a different dimensions of the park, using augmented reality filters.
Do you have Facebook Messenger*? If so, all you have to do is bring your smart phone or tablet at the Park, connect it to the Internet (you can use your own mobile data or connect to the free WIFI available at the Park) and scan a QR code! You will then receive a private message via Facebook Messenger with instructions to activate the AR filters.
This gives you the opportunity to interact with the Park in a way you have never done before, watching our stunning bushland setting come alive! Fairies, bees and frogs will appear on your screen; don’t forget to look out for the Talking Tree and to take a selfie placing a beautiful digital flower crown on your head!
If you need help, please ask to one of our lovely staff at the main entry gate. You can find the QR code in the Park’s map that you will be given upon arrival or in one of our posters located around the Park.
