The school holidays are only one week away! If you’re looking for things to do with kids in Perth these school holidays – look no further! Starting on Saturday 24th September and ending on Sunday 9th October, get ready for two weeks of fun in the Perth Hills.
There’s plenty to do with kids at the Park these school holidays. Its Yates Springtime will still be running at least until the 26th of September, and Freedom Fairies will be visiting on October 1st and October 8th. Our vintage train will be operating, and we’ll be running a colouring in competition from the train station. Plenty of prizes are to be won, generously donated by Yates Australia.
Freedom Fairies will deliver another hugely popular bubble show on Saturday October 1st, followed by face painting (a small fee applies). On Saturday October 8th, from 11am-1pm Freedom Fairies will have games, bubbles, story time, and a craft station!
Online tickets for these dates are not yet available while we wait to announce the official end date of Its Yates Springtime. This will be updated in the near future, tickets can also be purchased from the gate on arrival.
The train will be running from Wednesday to Sunday (weather permitting). Tickets are $5 per seat and can purchased on the day from the train station marquee on the Concourse.
As always, our augmented reality filters are still around and a great way to see the Park in a new light! Scan the QR code on one of our AR signs around the park and enter a digital world of bees, fairies, and frogs! Or if you’re looking to escape screens for the day our scavenger hunt packs will be available from the gatehouse on entry.
We can’t wait to see you these school holidays! Come out to Araluen and get the kids out of the house for a day in the Perth Hills. Traffic and parking information can be found here.
