Spring has sprung, and Araluen Botanic Park is poised to welcome thousands through the gate between 16 August to 3 October for the It’s Yate’s Springtime at Araluen, boasting over 150,000 blooming tulip bulbs and 36,000 Spring blooms delivering a kaleidoscope of colour for visitors to enjoy.
Internationally recognised Camellias, Azaleas, and Grand Magnolia trees are just some of the beautiful blooms you will spot against the backdrop of a stunning bushland setting.
There will be a couple of ways to journey around the Park during this year’s Festival. Join one of our volunteers for a guided tour. Or, during September weekends, you can purchase a train ticket and hit the tracks. Alternatively, why not guide your own meander.
In 2021, children will be amazed with augmented reality filters delivered by Facebook Messenger via a QR code available throughout the Park. Watch in wonder as the children enter a digital world before your eyes, chasing fairies and catching frogs. More simple pleasures are also available in the form of Treasure hunts and the Yates colouring competition, ready for pick up from the Forest Deck View.
September will see a host of talented musicians performing across the Park, with food stalls and coffee vans also on site Thursdays to Sundays.
