Facilities bbq


Electric BBQ’s are available free of charge for visitors throughout the Park. Wood-fired BBQ’s and firewood are available from May - October. Open fires are not permitted. Ice is available at the Chalet Healy Café.

Facilities Araluen Train


Araluen’s Train is a favourite for visitors to the Park. It operates seasonally to take visitors around the Park and learn about the gardens and history of Araluen. A small fee applies to ride the train

*Unfortunately the train will not run during the pandemic until phase five due to social distancing restrictions

Facilities shop


The Roundhouse building was the original cookhouse for the Araluen pioneers in the early 1930's. Built from heavy stone out of the onsite brook, named 'Stinton Creek' which runs north south across the entire Araluen Botanic Park gardens. This Spring visitors can enjoy roasted coffee and patisserie offerings from the new menu on offer.

Disabled Access

A special needs access road is located off Croyden Rd
Easy paths are identified on the Park map
All public toilets in the Park have disabled and parenting facilities
