Visit the central memorial, The Grove of the Unforgotten, named as the most beautiful Heritage Memorial in Australia. Built in memory of 89 brave souls from the Young Australia league in World War I, this site combines rich history with scenic beauty, It is designed in the shape of the Lyre, to reflect the musical pursuits of the original founders the Young Australia League. Also, the connection to comrade with the Big Band events formerly held at the Grassed Amphitheatre. The Old Swimming Pool, built of stone and enormous Jarrah Logs over the Pergola is a favourite for weddings and a great photo.
