There are so many options for wedding ceremonies across Araluen Botanic Park, you will be spoilt for choice.
Stinton Creek Lawn
A stunning, lush, green location, near the ever-flowing Stinton Creek, this space is perfect for both ceremonies and receptions. The space can cater for 50-150 guests.
Mary Hargreaves Pergola
A favourite spot for weddings up to 100 people, the Pergola offers wonderful views of the Centenary Lawn and Rose Garden.
Bennet’s Lawn
Popular year round, Bennet’s Lawn is a secluded, intimate space located away from main attractions of the Park with a capacity of 50-100. It is partly shaded. Whether you would like to marry upon a historic bridge, or upon the natural, green lawn, Bennets Lawn delivers many choices.

Will there be a bond?
Can I bring extra furniture for my event?
How many toilet facilities are available on site, and can additional portable facilities be delivered to site?
Can I have other events at Araluen?
Can I have an after-hours event?
As Araluen staffing capacity is limited, all events (excluding receptions) must be held within the Park’s opening hours of 9am to 5pm. Receptions can be held from 6pm-10pm but an extra security cost will be charged and these bookings can only be made with written permission from ABP. Please note an additional cost will be charged for packing down for events that extend past the allocated time and/or visitors that delay exiting the Park.
Can I bring my own alcohol to the Park?
No BYO alcohol is permitted at the Park. For alcohol consumption at the Park, please contact weddings@araluenbotanicpark.com.au.
Can I book a reception at the Forest View Deck?
The Forest View Deck is once again available for receptions! Reception bookings are for either 2 hours or 4 hours and cannot extend past 10pm. Please submit an enquiry via our web form or contact us directly at weddings@araluenbotanicpark.com.au for more information and to book.
What accessibility facilities are available on site?
How much parking is available on site, and will guests be charged for parking?
Can Events Officers assist with wedding planning?
Is there any time of year events and weddings cannot be catered for at Araluen Botanic Park?
What is your policy should the wedding need to be cancelled or rescheduled due to COVID restrictions or other reasons?
Are there changing areas for the bride, groom and bridal party?
Can we host a rehearsal ceremony on site prior to the day?
Should I wish to host a wedding reception on the grounds, can I bring in outdoor catering?
When our on-site caterer is not operating, it is possible to bring in outdoor catering. Suppliers will be required to fill in a contractor’s handbook and provide relavant documentation. Please discuss this with the Team
What’s the weather contingency for outdoor spaces?
Does the Park offer any security services? Can security guards be brought into site?
We do have a preferred security provider and this service is required for weddings held after 5pm at the cost of the hirer.
Can I bring décor and other items, such as outdoor heating to the Park?
Some items are permitted. Outdoor heating with naked flames is not permitted. Only battery-operated candles.

The Perth Hills Armadale Visitor Centre is a domestic travel agent and can provide booking services for hirers or guests.
