Restore the Grove of the Unforgotten
One of Araluen’s most sacred and symbolic spaces, the Grove of the Unforgotten is in urgent need of restoration. Built in the 1930s to honour fallen soldiers, this terraced water garden is a powerful blend of history, memory, and nature.
Your EOFY donation can help:
- Repair its historic stonework
- Reactivate the cascading watercourse
- Restore symbolic plantings like poplars and weeping cherries
- Interpret its story for future generations
Help us honour the past while safeguarding this peaceful sanctuary for the future.
Protect Local Biodiversity, Naturally
Araluen’s unique valley supports an extraordinary mix of native and exotic plant species, creating vital microhabitats for:
- Native birds like Western Rosellas and Rufous Whistlers
- Microbats and marsupials that depend on hollow logs and undisturbed understorey
- Important water species in Stinton Creek and surrounding catchments
You can play a role in helping our gardens not only grow — but regenerate.
