Park Entry Ticket

At Araluen Botanic Park, we strive to provide our visitors with exceptional experiences amongst the beauty of nature. However, we understand that circumstances may arise which may require a refund. Please read our refund policy carefully before making your purchase:

1. Refund Eligibility:

  • Araluen Botanic Park does not typically offer refunds or exchanges on entry tickets, unless required by law.
  • Refunds will only be considered for customers who have spent less than 15 minutes within the park and have a valid reason for requesting a refund. Poor decision making is NOT a valid reason.

2. Valid Reasons for Refund:

  • Valid reasons for refund include unforeseen emergencies or circumstances beyond the visitor’s control that prevent them from enjoying their visit.
  • Examples of valid reasons may include sudden illness, personal emergencies, or other extenuating circumstances.

3. Invalid Reasons for Refund:

  • Weather conditions or changes in personal plans or poor decision making are not considered valid reasons for a refund.
  • Visitors are encouraged to consider weather forecasts and their schedules carefully before purchasing tickets.
  • Limited flowers or poor decision making is NOT valid for refunds
  • Araluen does NOT guarantee or charge for parking, and does NOT refund ticket entry fees based on where a vehicle is directed to park.

4. Refund Process:

  • To request a refund, visitors must provide proof of purchase and a valid reason for their refund request.
  • Refund requests can be made in person at the park’s customer service office only.
  • Refunds will be issued at the discretion of Araluen Botanic Park management.

5. Exchanges:

  • Exchanges for tickets purchased online are not permitted.
  • Tickets purchased for a specific date can be exchanged for a later date if we are contacted 48 hours in advance only.

Gift Shop and Cafe Purchases

Araluen Botanic Park strive to offer high-quality products and delicious refreshments at our gift shop and cafe. We want every visitor to have a positive experience and enjoy their purchases to the fullest. To ensure customer satisfaction and confidence in our products, we have implemented the following refund policy.

Refunds will be provided in the following circumstances:

1. Unsafe Products:

  • If an item purchased from our gift shop or cafe is found to be unsafe for consumption or use, we will issue a full refund upon return of the product.

2. Significant Discrepancy:

  • If a product or food/drink item is significantly different from what is displayed, we will provide a refund or exchange based on the customer’s preference.

3. Failure to Meet Expectations:

  • If a purchased item does not perform as expected or fails to fulfill its stated purpose, we will issue a refund or exchange upon presentation of the receipt.

4. Concealed Defects:

  • If a customer discovers a problem with an item that would have prevented them from making the purchase, had they been aware of it, we will provide a refund or exchange within a reasonable timeframe.

This policy is effective from 5.09.2025 and supersedes any previous refund policies or procedures.
